About ELJam
The East Lothian Youth Music Forum aims to support, promote and develop youth music activity across East Lothian for all young people aged 25 and under. To join the network, please click the button below and tell us a little about who you are and what you do.
Membership of the network is free and open to anyone who has an interest in supporting the youth music sector in East Lothian or is under 25 and considers themselves a musician.
The aims of the Youth Music Forum are:
- to be a supportive network for youth music activity to link up to existing provision
- to promote of showcase events at local, national and international levels
- to improve access to music tuition, activities and facilities
- to create and promote greater community involvement opportunities
- to provide links and pathways between schools, colleges, community based activities and the professional music sector
- to share expertise and resources to benefit all
- to increase the number of young people accessing and enjoying music
