The focus of the group is conservation work, including practical habitat management, biological surveying and environmental interpretation. Junior Rangers is a nationwide network of Ranger-led conservation groups for young people which operates under the Scottish Countryside Ranger Association (SCRA) Junior Ranger Programme.
Participants have the opportunity to explore the East Lothian countryside, learn about the Countryside Ranger profession, assist the rangers with public events and to connect up with other Junior Ranger participants across the county on Gathering days.
Places are limited, so for all enquires please contact Richard or Meryl by emailing juniorrangers@eastlothian.gov.uk
