Home library service

Our home library service is for anyone who is elderly or who needs to stay inside for health reasons. If you know of anyone who can't collect books and doesn't have anyone who can collect books for them, we will deliver their books.

  • Bookbug sessions (under 5's) - every Thursday at 11am. Advance booking required
  • Cancer Support Group - second Thursday of the month at 10:30am
  • Citizen's Advice drop in - alternate Wednesdays 10am to midday
  • Code Club (ages 8 to 11 years) - every Thursday from 4pm to 5pm. Places are limited, please contact the library to book
  • Craft & Chat - every Monday at 10:30am to midday
  • Sewing skills workshop - Mondays 2:30pm to 4:30pm. These sessions teach you to repair textiles, darn, hem, and upcycle clothes. Please get in touch with North Berwick Library to book your place
  • Lit Lot Book Group - second Thursday of the month at 6pm
  • McIntosh Book Group- third Thursday of the month at 6pm
  • Morning Book Group - last Tuesday of the month at 10:30am
  • Tyne and Esk Writers -  first and third Tuesdays of the month at 2pm
  • Lego Club - every Friday from 2:30pm to 3:30pm (under 8's to be accompanied by an adult)
  • Dog Friendly Mondays - well behaved dogs are welcome in the library every Monday, as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult!

Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a responsible person aged 14 or over at all times, including during events and activities. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in the library. Due to the multiple demands on staff time and attention, library staff are not able to supervise children in the library. The library is a public space that may be accessed by anyone, and children and young people under the age of 18 remain the responsibility of their legal guardian while on library premises.
