Trove.scot is a new e-resource bringing together Historic Environment Scotland’s diverse collections in one convenient place. It combines information from the Historic Environment Portal, Canmore, as well as images previously on SCRAN. The process of migrating information from Scran to Trove will be completed by March 2026.

Whether you have a personal interest, you're a professor, or part of Scotland’s archaeological sector, trove.scot is your companion to researching Scotland’s past.

You can use it to find out about listed buildings and other designated places, see archive images and explore every corner of Scotland.
