Coastal Community Connections

Coastal Community Connections offers a number of free services in the coastal ward, bringing people together to ease loneliness and social isolation for adults of all ages. 

Drop in to the Scone Café at Abbey Church Hall, North Berwick Wednesdays  2pm to 3:30pm

Or visit the website Coastal Community Connections  to find out about a range of activities such as one-to-one befriending & buddy walks, End of Life Skills courses and bereavement support. 

 

St Andrew Blackadder Church

Beacon Lunches - open to all, Thursdays from 11am to 1pm. Bowl of soup, coffee, tea and cakes - free but donations welcome.

Warmish Space, the entrance room - open to anyone Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm, Saturday 10am to 2pm. Free to attend.

 

Law Primary School

After School Club - open to school age children from 3pm to 5:45pm, Monday to Thursday. Sessions are charged.

Breakfast Club - open to school age children from 7:30am to 8:45am, Monday to Friday. Sessions are charged.

Stepping Out Lunch Club - open to people with severe and enduring mental health issues on a Wednesday from 12pm to 3pm. By referral only.

Stepping Out Supper Club - 5:30pm to 8:30pm on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of month. Charity supporting people with severe and enduring mental health issues - a referral is required. For more information visit steppingouteastlothian.org

Mens Sheds - open to retired men on a Wednesday afternoon from 1:30pm to 3:30pm for tea, coffee and a chat. Phone 07906 341124 or email mensshednb@gmail.com to attend.

Stay and Play - 9:30am to 11:30am, £1 donation for refreshments for children and adults. Open to families with babies and toddlers, this is a play session where the accompanying adults stay to supervise. For more information, email jangaunt.northberwickcoastal@gmail.com

Drop-in Coffee - 10am to 11:30am Monday to Friday, open to everyone - £3

Monthly music night - open to anyone on the second Thursday of each month. Contact nbc-communityconnections@outlook.com to attend - free of charge.

Gullane babies and toddlers group available to village residents on Friday mornings from 10am to 11:30am. Cost is £3 for juice and a snack for the toddler and a hot drink for the adult.
