Extended hours licences
Application
Extensions are likely to be applied for for special occasions or events such as weddings, sports events etc. An extension of the licensed hours may last for up to one month however this can not then be extended by further applications.
The application form must be lodged together with the fee, more than 14 days before the event.
A copy of the application will be sent to Police Scotland and the Licensing Standards Officer (LSO). Police Scotland have 10 days to respond to the consultation and the LSO must comment on the application. If objections are received, the Licensing Board will determine the application.
