Families together East Lothian listen, act and build kind and compassionate relationships to enable families to have greater choice and live well within their communities and beyond.

​We will do this by offering the right supports, at the right time and in the right place.

​Families together East Lothian is a service aiming to offer support to families at the right time and that meets their needs

​Our team includes family outreach workers across East Lothian supporting families, children and young people. 

​Family outreach workers will work alongside families to build on their current skills and confidence to deal with day-to-day situations within their family. Some examples include:

  • ​sleep, boundaries and routines
  • helping your child express their emotions
  • housing and finances
  • practical support and signposting
  • school attendance worries
  • understanding neurodiversity approaches
  • anything else your family may need

​We aim to be a one stop shop for families providing a tailored service.

We are a voluntary service so if you choose to work with us we will build kind compassionate relationships with you and listen to your family’s need. We will work with you enable you to have greater choice and live well within your community and beyond.
