Self Directed Support (SDS)

Self‑Directed Support (SDS) is the way social care is delivered in Scotland for children, young people, families and carers. It is based on the Social Care (Self‑directed Support) (Scotland) Act 2013, which aims to give people choice and control over how their care and support is arranged.
