East Lothian Council is required under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017 and the Electricity Works (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017 to make copies of EIA Screening Opinions available for public inspection. The Screening Opinion Register below contains records from the last two year period. This register gives details of the proposal, the site location, and the decision on whether the proposal is EIA development or not.  If a planning application has subsequently been made for the proposal, the Screening Opinion will be published along with application documents on the planning application register.  If you would like a copy of a Screening Opinion of a proposal where a planning application has not been submitted, please contact the Policy and Strategy Team at policy&projects@eastlothian.gov.uk
