Climate change and biodiversity

The Countryside Service acknowledges the interlinked issues of the climate and biodiversity emergency, and we are committed to working in line with the council’s climate strategy and the Ranger Service`s own targets - to act and work in a way we consider to be the most sustainable. We continue to take action on habitat conservation and on our emissions, waste, consumption and care for how our work impacts the environment. We encourage our volunteer groups and other members of the community to take their own actions for the environment and climate, as every action counts.
