Regular library users may have noticed that they are having to wait longer than normal for books they have requested from other libraries. Our van driver retired a few weeks ago and while our amazing colleagues in the mailroom are helping us out as much as they can while also carrying out their normal work, there will be some disruption to service until we've recruited someone new to join the team.

Near Me is a video consulting service that enables people to attend medical appointments from home or in a location that is convenient to them, and is now available in a private space at both Dunbar and Tranent libraries.

Near Me is a secure form of video consulting approved for use by the Scottish Government and NHS Scotland.
