East Lothian Council is required under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017 to make copies of EIA screening opinions available for public inspection. These are all available from the Office of the Planning Authority located at John Muir House, Haddington. Below you will find the online screening opinions register containing records from the last 2 year period. The register gives details of the site location, the proposal, and the decision on whether it was EIA Development or not. If a planning applicaton has subsequently been made for the proposal, the screening opinion will be published with the application documents available through the planning application register.
If you would like a copy of an EIA screening opinion that relates to a proposal where a planning application has not been submitted, please contact the Policy and Strategy Team policy&projects@eastlothian.gov.uk
