East Lothian Council is required under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017 to make copies of EIA scoping opinions available for public inspection. These are all available from the Office of the Planning Authority located at John Muir House, Haddington. Below you will find the online scoping opinion register containing records from the last 2 year period.
Please note if a planning application is subsequently made for a development that has already been subject to EIA scoping, the Scoping Opinion is transferred to the planning application case file, available through East Lothian Planning Online.
The online EIA Scoping Opinion register is currently being reviewed. Therefore if you require a copy of an EIA Scoping Opinion, please contact policy&[email protected].
