General Functions of Licensing Standards Officer are shown in Section 14 (1)
of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 and are as follows:

Providing information and guidance concerning the operation of the Act in East Lothian

Checking compliance by licensees

Offering mediation services to resolve disputes or disagreements between licence holders and other parties
