COVID-19 impacts on planning

Until further notice all planning decisions will be issued electronically. The stamped plans will be downloadable from our website.

Our planning and building standards general enquiry/duty services are only available through email and written correspondence.  Currently due to a very high number of enquiries we regret that we are not able to respond to these as quickly as we would like to and appreciate your patience.  We appreciate that this is frustrating for users.

For all written representations received by the Council from 23 March 2020 - We are currently unable to acknowledge receipt of written representations to a planning application unless there is an email address provided. 

Notification of Planning Decision -  again we are unable to provide you with details of when a decision on a planning application has been made.  This information will be available online.
