Planned works and modernisation works
Submit an enquiry to the Planned Works team for any of the following:
1. Painterwork enquiries relating to:
- repairs
- graffiti - report graffiti online
- external painterworks
- colour wash
2. If you have a letter confirming your address is on a programme for an upgrade to:
- kitchen
- bathroom
- electrics
- windows and doors
3. Enquiries about a decorating allowance following the completion of planned works. This can take up to 12 weeks for payment to be processed.
Submit an enquiry to the Planned Works team
Submit an enquiry to the Housing Asset team for any of the following:
1. Modernisation works for council housing - if you have not received a letter confirming your address is on the planned works programme
- kitchens
- bathrooms (including wet floor showers, unless it is for a new adapted bathroom or replacement - see point 2)
- wiring
- roofing and rendering
- windows and doors
- colourwash
- external painter work
- insulation
2. Electrical servicing
The Housing Asset team have a responsibility for most scheduling and rescheduling relating to electrical servicing programmes - these are known as EICRs.
3. Stock Condition and Energy Surveys
We schedule and carry out stock condition and energy surveys for East Lothian Council stock. You will get a letter telling you a survey has been scheduled for your tenancy.
