How to become a Get Connected champion
Being a 'Get Connected Champion' is a powerful way for an activity provider to demonstrate its commitment to inclusion and young people in the local area.
Achieving ‘Champion’ status enables organisations to send a positive message to young people with additional support needs that they are included, valued, supported, and will be treated fairly when they engage with the organisation.
We have made it easy for you to become a 'champion' with our short inclusion checklist. If you tick all our boxes, then you are a champion and we’d love to have you featured on the website.
If you do not tick all the boxes then this checklist will let you identify your areas of good practice and also areas that need further development. Use it as part of an action plan on how inclusion and equal opportunities are taken forward by your organisation.
