Constituencies: Edinburgh Eastern, Musselburgh and Tranent, and East Lothian Coast and Lammermuirs
Briefing sessions will be held for candidates and agents in the above constituencies during February and March 2026.
An online ‘Meet the Team’ session will be held on Tuesday 3 February, 6pm to 7pm, via Teams. Meet Returning Officer, Laurence Rockey, Depute Returning Officer, Hayley Barnett, and the election team. The briefing will include information on key dates, our two constituencies, count venues and will be an opportunity for you to ask questions.
On Tuesday 3 March, 6pm to 7pm, a briefing will take place on the nomination process, and copies of the nomination pack will be available from this date. This session will be hybrid, giving participants the choice to attend in person at John Muir House, Haddington, or to attend online.
