The Abbey Residential Home
The Abbey is situated in North Berwick and has 28 bedrooms, 16 of which have en-suite facilities. The Abbey is built on two levels and is surrounded by large and pleasant gardens with walkways and seating.
Rooms have a television, pay phone sockets, washbasins and are furnished with a bed, wardrobe, dressing table, lockable drawers and an armchair. You are welcome to bring personal items such as small pieces of furniture, photographs, ornaments and pictures to help you feel more at home.
The Abbey is within easy walking distance of the town centre.
The East Lothian Care Home Team supports the delivery of regular clinics in collaboration with the local GP Surgery. Their offices are close by if you would prefer to be seen outwith the home. We also have a visiting optician and local dental practices nearby.
The home has one communal dining room in the older part of the building, while in the new wing there is a combined living room and dining room. There are three lounges as well as tea and coffee-making facilities where you can make hot drinks for you and your guests.
