myHR

myHR is the employee self‑service system for council staff

myHR is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, allowing staff to manage personal details, request leave, view pay information, and other HR-related tasks.

Staff can access their myHR account on any personal device.

Please use the correct weblink to access your myHR account:

 myHR link using your PERSONAL email address

Staff without access to myHR can request an account by downloading and completing the consent form

You will be able to view your data, including: 

  • personal information
  • absence information – sickness, holiday and special leave
  • payslips
  • P60s
  • employment detail

You can:

  • update your address and other personal information
  • update your sensitive information 
  • change you bank details
  • request special leave and annual leave
  • submit overtime and mileage claims

Expenses that cannot be claimed in myHR:

  • you cannot claim overtime or other expenses for supply/casual/relief hours. You must claim these hours using the paper overtime form
  • hours worked in another location in the same job must be claimed using the paper overtime claim form
  • teachers working additional hours must claim the hours using the paper overtime claim form

If you're an employee of East Lothian Council and you don’t have access to myHR, please take a moment to download and complete the consent form.

Once we process your form, you will be sent an email with full details on how to access your myHR account.

Your myHR account will allow you to view and download your payslips, update your personal details, and access other useful employment information
