Shouting and swearing incidents lead to ASBO

An interim ASBO was renewed at Edinburgh Sheriff Court against Vivienne Stewart (39) of Stoneybank Gardens South, prohibiting her from shouting, swearing or using threatening, intimidating, aggressive or abusive language or behaviour within her property or towards residents of or visitors to Stoneybank Gardens South.

A number of complaints have been made about Ms Stewart’s behaviour which include shouting and screaming within her property and threatening other residents in the vicinity of her property, which has caused considerable alarm and disturbance to neighbours.

A council spokesperson said: “We work closely with Police Scotland to gather evidence of alleged antisocial behaviour to ensure appropriate legal action can be pursued to tackle this behaviour which can have such a detrimental effect on the lives of others.”
