East Lothian Council is planning to carry out carriageway repair works on the eastbound side of the A198 dual carriageway approaching Longniddry.
In the interests of safety, it is necessary to close the eastbound carriageway on the following dates:
- Monday 13 to Friday 17 January 2020
- Monday 20 to Friday 24 January 2020
- Monday 27 to Friday 31 January 2020
Each closure is expected to begin at 8am on the Monday, finishing at 5pm on the Friday of that week.
A diversion will be put in place via the B6371 and B1348. If required traffic management will be put in place to assist with traffic flow.
Westbound traffic will not be affected while access to Seton Mains will be maintained.
