Application to temporarily restrict access near Archerfield during Scottish Open

Consultation on application to temporarily exempt land from access rights

Under the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 (“the Act”) an application has been made by (Scottish Open, The Renaissance Club) to exempt an area of land at The Renaissance Club, Dirleton, (area marked on map) from the access rights which would otherwise be exercisable in respect of that land by virtue of Part 1 of the Act.

The purpose for the application is to secure the safety and security of players and the safety of the public during the Championship.

The period applied for is from 00.01 hours on 27 September 2020 and will expire at 23.59 hours on 4 October 2020, unless revoked earlier.
