September weekend closure information.
The following Council offices will be closed on Friday 18 and Monday 21 September:
- John Muir House (Council Headquarters), Haddington.
- Brunton Hall, Musselburgh.
- All other Area Offices, Libraries, Community Centres, Brunton Theatre and Box Office will also be closed over this weekend.
Registration of births, deaths and marriages
The Registration service will be closed on Friday 18 and Monday 21 September. This service will resume on Tues 22 September and will continue to hold remote Birth, Death and Still-birth appointments by telephone. All marriage documentation can be posted to the Registrar’s office at the John Gray Centre, Haddington. A Registrar can be contacted (for emergencies) by calling 01875 612818.
