Over 75s, immunosuppressed individuals and those living in care homes for older people are now able to receive an additional COVID-19 booster vaccination as part of efforts to protect those at highest risk from coronavirus. These people will be invited as they become eligible from around 24 weeks after their last booster.

COVID-19 vaccination appointments will be offered at the following East Lothian venues:

Musselburgh Primary Care Centre Monday to Friday by appointment only (open 8:20am to 4:40pm)
Edington Hospital, North Berwick From 28 March, Monday to Friday by appointment only (open 8:20am to 4:40pm)
Haddington Corn Exchange

Monday to Friday for both appointment and drop ins (open 8:20am to 4:40pm).  Drop-in service available to those over 12 years old who require first or second Covid jab or first booster.

Saturday, Sunday from 8:20am to 4:40pm - children aged 5-11, by appointment only.  Please note - no drop in service will be available.

Krista Clubb, Primary Care Vaccination Service Manager says:

“The Spring booster will improve your level of protection and is the best way to protect your health and those around you.  Letters will be sent out to people eligible in the coming weeks to invite them to come along to an appointment. We would encourage anyone who has still to receive any dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, to come and get vaccinated as soon as they become eligible.”
