East Lothian's Provost has congratulated Her Majesty The Queen on her Platinum Jubilee.
Councillor John McMillan said:
“On behalf of East Lothian I would like to extend our congratulations and warmest wishes to Her Majesty The Queen on the occasion of her Platinum Jubilee.
“For the majority of people in the UK she has been the only monarch they have ever known and she is the first ever to achieve the tremendous milestone of 70 years of public service.
“I hope the weather is kind for the local residents and communities who are planning celebrations this weekend.”
