Fa’side Area Partnership is holding a series of events in local venues across the area to find out what is needed to make Fa’side even better. The events are open to everyone who lives in Fa’side.

The Partnership is a group of community volunteers who use their Area Plan to try to improve their communities. It meets around six times a year to check the progress on their Area Plan. Area Partnerships were established and are funded by East Lothian Council.

A spokesperson for Fa’side Area Partnership explains: “The Plan contains the things people told us they wanted us to try and change or make happen in our local communities. We now need them to tell us about the things they like in their community and the things that they would like to change.  We also want to know if anything is missing.”

Come along to one of the six sessions being held in local venues across Fa’side (refreshments provided):

  • Monday 7 August, 1pm to 7pm, Trevelyan Hall Pencaitland (also (covering Boggs Holdings, Glenkinchie and New Winton)
  • Tuesday 8 August, 1pm to 7pm, Ormiston Community Centre
  • Wednesday 9 August, 1pm to 7pm, Macmerry Village Hall (also covering Gladsmuir)
