East Lothian’s IJB has published its Annual Performance Report for 2024/25, highlighting a year of resilience, innovation, and continued commitment to improving health and social care services.

The report showcases how, despite ongoing financial pressures and operational challenges, the IJB and its partners have maintained strong performance and continue to develop and improve service delivery. From developing new models of care to enhancing community-based support, the IJB has remained focused on its strategic objectives and the health and wellbeing of East Lothian residents.

The report highlights East Lothian’s continued strong performance against the Scottish Government’s National Integration Indicators.  According to data for the year, the county exceeds the national average in 8 out of 10 key measures, with either improvement or sustained performance in 7 of these.

Andrew Cogan, Chair of the IJB comments: “This year’s report demonstrates the dedication of our staff and partners in delivering high-quality care during a period of significant financial and operational challenges, to which I give my sincere thanks.  While there is much to be proud of, we also recognise the need for continued innovation and collaboration to meet future demands.”

“I would also like to encourage everyone with an interest in health and social care to take part in our engagement on the new Strategic Plan. Your views are vital in shaping services that are person-centred, responsive and reflect current and future needs”.

“Work is already underway to review and update the IJB Strategic Plan, which will set priorities through to 2030. The IJB is committed to ensuring this plan reflects the voices of local people and partners.”
