2024-25 Completed projects

Improvements to the Pencaitland Crossing, funded by Sustrans, have introduced vehicle-activated signs that trigger when a pedestrian or cyclist is waiting to cross. The crossing has been realigned to provide a straighter route, reducing the crossing distance, and tactile paving has been installed to support accessibility. The upgrades will be monitored, and any further suitable improvements will be considered in due course.
