Odours and fumes
If you are being affected by persistent, recurring odours and fumes, Environmental Health can investigate. This includes domestic and commercial sources. Examples could include odours or fumes arising from food businesses, paint or solvent fumes from vehicle workshops or nail salons, septic tanks or manure spreading.
What we cannot investigate
- One off incidents
- Odours and fumes which are not interring with the use of your home.
- Industrial activities regulated by SEPA through Pollution Prevention Control scheme.
