SAMH

SAMH also does a course for teachers: E-learning for Teachers

In a recent survey, teachers told us that they didn’t feel that they had received sufficient training in mental health to allow them to carry out their role.

Which is why we've created ‘We all have mental health: an introduction for teachers’, to provide teachers with an introduction to mental health; equip them with the skills and knowledge to recognise and respond to a pupil who is experiencing a mental health problem; and lead a conversation about positive mental health.

YouTube mental-wellbeing playlist launched by East Lothian Psychological Therapies Service

East Lothian Psychological Therapies Service has launched a series of mental health videos that people can use to guide themselves through difficult times. This work has received generous support from the Edinburgh and Lothians Health Foundation.

There are nine playlists, each one discussing different aspects of life, stress and overcoming difficult times. The team has chosen the playlist format to all be only a few minutes long so that they fit in with modern viewing habits.
