Summer Reading Challenge 2021 - Wild World Heroes

Get ready for Wild World Heroes, arriving online and in your local library on Friday 18 June.

Pack your bags, we’re headed for Wilderville!
It’s a pretty cool place, but there are lots of things that the Wild World Heroes can do to make their town even better for the people and animals that live there.

Join the Wild World Heroes for the Summer Reading Challenge and discover how you can make a difference to the environment too.

We’re teaming up with WWF for a very special nature-themed Challenge that will inspire you to stand up for the planet!

Wild World Heroes will feature amazing books, awesome rewards, and plenty of ideas for taking care of our environment.

Are you excited to join the #WildWorldHeroes this summer?

How to take part

Drop into your local library from Friday 18 June to register for the challenge. You'll be given a reading record sheet to record your books. Once you've read your first 2 library books you'll collect stickers for your record and a bookmark.  After 4 books you'll collect more stickers and a pencil. On completing the challenge you'll receive your final stickers and a book to keep. Your certificate will be presented to you at school after the holidays. You can read books you've chosen from the library, downloaded for free with your library card details or you might just find us out and about this summer to let you register outside the library - keep your eyes peeled!

Keep a lookout on our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages for updates.

It's going to be so exciting!
