  • Bookbug sessions, fantastic free story, song and rhyme sessions for babies, toddlers, pre-school children and their families, takes place every Wednesday at 9.00am and 10.00am
  • Homework Club Wednesdays 3-30 - 4-45pm Primary 4 - 7's. If you are interested, please ask at the library counter. Starts Wednesday 17th January
  • Book group meets in the library on the second Monday of the month at 7.30pm. New members are always welcome. 
  • Lego Club Tuesdays 3-20 - 4pm Primary 1 upwards. Call into the Library to book a place.
  • DWP drop in session every Wednesday between 2pm - 4.30pm for Universal Credit clients
  • Writers Group meets every second Thursday at 7.30pm. Please check with library staff for dates
  • Learn computer basics or iPad learner sessions available on demand
  • Online Help for Jobseekers. Anyone with little or no PC knowledge can book in to come along to Dunbar Library for a session on setting up email and searching the internet. Sessions will be available every Thursday morning from 10.00am - 12 noon, and need to be booked in advance. Anyone attending a session will need to be a library member so non-members will need to come in and join prior to booking a space
  • Craft group, every Thursday, 10.00am to 12 noon. Knitting, sewing, embroidery, needlepoint, quilting, beading, crochet. Enjoy a chat and refreshments - all welcome
  • Dementia Carers' Support Group. Every Wednesday, 2.30-3.30pm. All welcome
  • Singalong Session every Tuesday, 1.30-3.30pm. Uplifting music and afternoon tea for older people and their carers. All welcome.

Change to Opening Hours

From Monday 2nd April the Library will close at 7pm instead of 7:30pm on Monday and Thursday evenings.
