East Lothian Libraries offer free access to popular magazines, national and international newspapers for you to enjoy at home or on the go. You can find out the latest gadgets or sports news, print recipes or patterns so there really is something for everyone!

RBdigital eMagazines

RBdigital eMagazines is available for our library members. Enjoy full-colour digital magazines for free anytime, anywhere reading on desktops, mobile devices and apps. With titles such as Hello, Empire, Marie Claire, Radio Times and New Scientist to name a few of the titles we subscribe to, with new and backlist titles with no holds, no checkout periods, and no limits. Please note that PressReader also have magazine titles to view including BBC titles.

What do you need?

  • Membership of East Lothian Libraries - (If you are not a member yet, find out more about joining us)
  • A valid eMail address
  • Access to the internet
  • A computer or suitable portable device (such as an iPad, Tablet or smart phone)

How do I sign up for eNewspapers?

Sign in to your library account and then click on the PressReader logo underneath your account details. PressReader is a streaming service so you should have full access to read content online. However, if you wish to download content to read offline or whilst not in the library, please download the PressReader App and connect at a HotSpot (the free wifi provided by your local library).
