A warm welcome to your new website
We’ve made improvements to help you find what you need more easily. If anything doesn’t work as expected, please let us know using the feedback button below.
The following pages provide information on what to expect if a child or young person you know is taking part in a Joint Investigative Interview. If you or the child would like to speak to a member of the Interview Team to find out more, please contact Duty Social Work on 01620 827 827.
The approaches used during Joint Investigative Interviews aim to support recovery and reduce the impact of trauma and re-traumatisation wherever possible.
It is therefore important that, following a interview, discussions are had with the child and their family regarding any ongoing support they may benefit from.
The Interviewers can signpost the child and their family to relevant support services where possible and also link in with any existing services such as Education, to request follow-up support.
