Blue Badge - risk in traffic

The Blue Badge scheme now extends the criteria to include people with a diagnosed behavioural, or cognitive impairment, which means they have little or no awareness of the dangers from traffic.

Eligibility

Applicants need to demonstrate eligibility by providing confirmation that they have been diagnosed with a mental disorder. We are aware that diagnosis of certain conditions can be a lengthy process. If you think you could be eligible, but are awaiting diagnosis, please contact our team. All applications are assessed on an individual basis.
