Alanda’s is a family-run business with a number of well-established food outlets across East Lothian and Edinburgh. We're currently looking for a reliable, hands-on Delivery & Stock Driver to join our growing team.

About the Role

This is a varied, fast-paced position that goes beyond just delivery driving. You’ll be a key part of our daily operations, helping to ensure that all our locations are well stocked, organised, and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver stock to multiple Alandas locations

• Safely and efficiently drive a van (up to 5 tonnes)

• Manage and update stock control spreadsheets (Excel)

• Organise and collect supplier deliveries (including Booker and Costco)

• Unload and sort stock in our mini-warehouse

• Maintain accurate stock levels across all locations

• Contribute ideas and improvements as the company continues to grow

Requirements

• A valid UK driver’s licence and access to your own car

• Confident driving a van up to 5 tonnes

• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting

• Experience using Excel or a willingness to learn

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

• Available weekends and during school holidays

• Minimum age: 25 (due to van insurance requirements)

• Dependable in showing up for shifts on time and fulfilling responsibilities, ensuring the store operates efficiently
• You must be at least 18 years old to qualify for this role, as you will be responsible for authorising age restricted sales.
