Developing the aims and objectives for health and social care services in East Lothian

Health and social care services are delivered by East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership (ELHSCP).  An integration of services from East Lothian Council and NHS Lothian who work together, in partnership to deliver the best possible outcomes for patients and service users.

ELHSCP is governed by a board of directors know as the Integration Joint Board or IJB.  They receive funds on an annual basis from East Lothian Council and NHS Lothian to deliver health and social care services.

The IJB are currently developing their Strategic Plan for 2025-2030.  This plan will set out the objectives and goals the IJB aim to achieve over this 5 year period.   The Strategic Plan is not an action plan.

The Strategic Plan sets out the current social, economic and demographic environment, and identifies how it aims to prioritise and focus service delivery to allocate the funds provided to them to meet the health and social care needs of the people of East Lothian.
