Phone line opening hours

Like many other services, we are seeing an unprecedented demand for help during this cost of living crisis.   

In order to process the high volume of Crisis Grant applications, we are changing our phone line opening hours.

From Wednesday, 25 January 2023, phone lines will be open from:

  • 1pm to 5pm Monday to Thursday, and
  • 1pm to 4pm on Fridays 

This will ensure we have dedicated time to process any new applications to meet our 48 hour turnaround time for people experiencing hardship or crisis.

If you have submitted a Crisis Grant application within the last 48 hours, one of our Officers will contact you as soon as your application has been assessed.  Please do not phone to check the status of your application as this is generating additional work and may delay applications further.
