Seasonal waste and recycling arrangements 2022/23
Food waste, recycling and non recyclable waste collections
Monday 26 December collections will take place on Saturday 24 December.
Monday 2 January collections will take place on Saturday 31 December.
All other collections will take place as normal on your regular scheduled collection days.
Please remember to present all containers at the kerbside by 7am on the day of collection.
Please remember, we will only collect material presented in the recycling and waste containers provided by East Lothian Council.
Garden waste collections
There will be no garden waste collections between 24 December and 8 January inclusive. Please check your collection calendar for your next collection date in January or February.
Christmas trees
Real Christmas trees can be composted by taking them to a Recycling Centre or presenting them beside your brown bin on garden waste collection dates in January or February.
Recycling Centres
Our Recycling Centres are usually open seven days a week, from 8.30am to 5pm However they will not be open on 25 & 26 December and 1 & 2 January, and will close at the earlier time of 2pm on 24 December and 31 December.
