Mobile Library

Please note that as of 17th March 2020, Midlothian Council has made the decision to close all library service points including the Mobile library service, so there will be no Mobile library service to Humbie, Whitecraig, Macmerry, Pencaitland, East Saltoun or Gifford until further notice.

Live Borders are still currently providing a Mobile Library Service to East Lothian Areas (Oldhamstocks and Innerwick) and are following Live Borders guidelines with regards to the Coronavirus.

In response to a survey conducted with our Mobile Library users to gather ideas and opinions on how we can provide alternative library access to those without the use of a vehicle, the following action has been taken.
