  • Smart lock: A range of smart locks enable you to control your front door with key tag, keypad and even your mobile phone. Smart door locks are designed to lock and unlock a door when receiving instructions from an authorised device using wireless technology or using a keypad. With the added convenience of not having a physical key, the smart lock on your door can be unlocked via a smartphone, key tag or keypad. You can monitor who enters or leaves your home and also send virtual keys to loved ones or guests and visitors.

  • Door Entry System: Security and communication system that allows you to see and communicate with visitors to your home, and decide whether to allow visitors access to your property without having to open the door.

  • CCTV Camera: Home security camera that you can monitor using a simple app, whether you are inside your home or out and about.

  • Video Doorbell: Combined home security camera, communication device and doorbell that you can monitor using a simple app, whether you are inside your home or out and about.

  • Smart Key Safe: The Smart Key Safe allows smart access via app or digital keypad, and is ideal for outdoor key access.

  • Door Sensor / Contacts: These are sensors which can be installed onto front or back doors that alert when a person leaves the home alone, e.g. during the night
    The sensors can be connected to a Smart Hub device to send an alert when someone leaves.
    Some door sensors are linked to a an absence time which can be programmed to delay an alarm call being raised immediately.

  • Doro Phone Secure 628: This is a hearing aid compatible mobile phone, with an assistance button and GPS functionality. 

  • Personal Alarm / GP Tracker / Locator Device: These devices can provide an SOS button that sends a notification to relatives or carers in an emergency.
    GPS locator devices connects with an app to show the location of the holder.
    Some devices may also include two-way voice calls functions, however this may come with a monthly subscription fee.

  • Bogus Caller Button: Usually requested following an incident or due to adult protection concerns. It has a silent activation where operators monitor the situation and call police to respond, unless there is an individual response protocol in place. All calls are recorded.

  • Smart TV Hub: The Amazon Fire TV Cube lets you put down the remote and dive straight into your favourite films and TV programmes with the sound of your voice.   • Tablet Device: Tablet computers resemble smartphones in some ways and can also be used to take photos, make phone calls, send messages, record videos and perform other tasks that can be performed by a smartphone as well.

  • Tripod Stand: An adjustable tripod tablet stand that means you do not have to hold it when using it for any length of time.

  • Smart Camera / Fridge Cam: A smart camera that allows you to remotely keep an eye on the contents of your fridge, or the fridge of a loved one. When items have gone out of date or are running low then you can order more.

Kitchen Safety 

  • Heat Sensor: Battery operated and linked to the community alarm unit by radio frequency. Activates in the event of a rapid rise in heat, for instance in the kitchen.

  • Motion Sensor Tap: A tap that activates for a short period of time when the motion sensor is triggered, ensuring that water is saved and the risk of flooding is prevented as the tap cannot be left on.

  • Timed Flow Tap: A tap that activates for a short period of time when pressed, ensuring that water is saved and the risk of flooding is prevented as the tap cannot be left on.

  • Flood Prevention Plug: Flood prevention plug is a bath plug which opens when the head of water over it reaches a certain level. It is intended to prevent bath overflow. The design has a significant advantage over conventional (built-in) overflows in that the emergency outflow takes place under a very much greater head and thus at a very much greater flowrate

  • Bed Occupancy Sensor: A sensor pad that lies in the bed to monitor overnight falls. If someone gets up during the night to go to the toilet and does not return to the bed within a pre-determined time the sensor will activate an alarm call.

  • Epilepsy Sensor: Monitor tonic-clonic seizures only. Can either be used as a stand-alone sensor linked to an on-site carer with pager, or linked to an alarm centre where a required response protocol is necessary.

  • Fall Detector: Neck or wrist worn sensor that provides automatic fall detection following an impact fall. A pendant is also included.

  • Pendant: When in need of assistance press the button to alert your designated contact. Pendants come with a choice of wearing options, usually on a neckcord or wristband.

Family Monitoring

  • Samsung Smart Things: SmartThings works with any brand of phone and is compatible with 1000s of smart devices. This includes Samsung, as well as products from brands such as Amazon, Google, Philips Hue, Ring and more.   • Just Checking: Just Checking is an activity monitoring system. It helps people with dementia live in their own homes for longer by showing their day-to-day capabilities and where support is needed. Adults with learning disabilities and/or autism can extend their independence, and receive just the right level of support.  Suggested product: Just Checking
     
  • Canary Care: is a discreet monitoring system of daily activities. Sensors are placed around the home mostly to monitor movement. Access to a portal is given so that family members and/or a healthcare professional can view activities. No wif-fi or telephone line is necessary for installation. It is usually installed in the home for a short period of time as part of an assessment to determine what support someone requires.  Suggested product: Canary Care
     
  • Alcuris Memo Hub: As a family member or friend, use the Memo app to keep up-to-date with the day-to-day activity of your loved one.
