As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, East Lothian has been placed in Protection Level 3.

This highlights that the virus continues to present a significant risk to local people with a number of restrictions in place affecting the way we live our lives – including meeting up with people, hospitality and travel.

There is no room for complacency and it’s vital that everyone continues to follow important public health advice including remembering ‘FACTS’:

  • Face coverings – wear a face covering in shops and on public transport
  • Avoid crowded places
  • Clean your hands regularly
  • Two metre distance – maintain physical distancing from people outwith your household
  • Self-isolate and book a test if you have symptoms

Remember to book a test if you have symptoms and stay at home if you are asked to self-isolate.

Help is available for people who are self-isolating and requiring extra support. Find out more.
