East Lothian has a great choice of cycle routes, ranging from coastal roads to off-road paths connecting our towns and villages. We are committed to enhancing these routes and encouraging people to cycle for everyday journeys. Cycling UK inspires and enables people to cycle and keep cycling. Through East Lothian Council's Connecting Communities partnership project, East Lothian's very own Cycling UK development officer is embedded in local communities across the county, using their expertise and local knowledge to work closely with community organisations, local businesses, public sector agencies and individuals.
