Due to the Coronavirus pandemic and demands on our services, we do not have a reopening date for this Library currently.


New Pop up Library - East Linton Mart


Every Tuesday from 25th May 10-1 a pop up library will be available providing Click and Collect, hearing aid batteries, blue bin lids, library membership and limited number of books to select and borrow.

Home delivery service


Our Home Library Service is for anyone who is elderly or who needs to stay inside for health reasons.  If you are aware of anyone who has no-one to collect books for them through the click and collect system - we can have books delivered to them. Email identifying who the person is who needs assistance with contact details for them.

Please note that all library events, clubs and activities have been suspended until further notice.  Bookbug sessions, children and teen book recommendations, Lego, science and craft ideas can all be found on our weekly activity programme on our Facebook page.

  • Bookbug sessions ( for under 5's)- every Thursday and Saturday at 10.15am
  • Book group - every second Tuesday of the month at 10.30am
  • Code Club ( for 8-12 year olds)- every Mondays from 3.30pm - 4.30pm
  • Craft group - every Tuesday from 2.30pm - 4.30pm
  • Spanish Club - every Friday from 2.30pm - 3.15pm
  • Storytime for toddlers - every Tuesday at 2.20pm.
  • Walk & Talk Book Group - the first Tuesday of the month at 10am

Free computer classes for beginners, 3 x 2 hour sessions: Tuesdays 10.20am to 12.30pm. Contact the Library to book a place.
