East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership provides its own care at home service and emergency care service delivered by East Lothian Council employees.
East Lothian’s Homecare service is a combined care at home and housing support service, delivering personal care and independent support to residents across East Lothian.

Only registered clients, or identified next-of-kin of clients receiving care should make direct contact with the Homecare Service.

The Homecare team also provides an Emergency Care Service.
This service is linked to the Community Alarm/Telecare systems which can be installed in an individual's own home.
Primarily the Emergency Care Service team respond to community alarm calls and other calls which are mainly related to falls or requests for urgent care support need. If you feel you require urgent care support, please contact the Community Care Contact Centre on 01875 824309 in the first instance.
The team additionally provide assistance with rehabilitation support, palliative care and can provide in-person welfare checks for individuals perceived to be at potential risk if requested by social care teams.
