I joined the East Lothian Educational Psychology Service in 2006 having previously worked for 4 years as a primary teacher in the authority. Educational Psychology provided me with the ideal job to be able to combine my interests in psychology, child development and learning and teaching.
One of my favourite parts of this job is being able to put theory into practice to make a difference for children and young people who are experiencing difficulties. I am currently the Educational Psychologist for the Prestonpans cluster. I have particular interests in Person Centred Planning and Dynamic assessment.
