Unlike most people, I knew that I wanted to be an Educational Psychologist when I was still at school. It was a long route to get here via working at a Neighbourhood Mediation Centre in London and teaching Secondary Maths. It's always been important to me to stand up against inequality and to support people to develop their individual skills and those of others.
Becoming an Educational Psychologist therefore combined all of this with my interest in how children learn and develop. I've worked in East Lothian now for over 15 years and am currently the link EP for the Haddington cluster.
