Changes to funded nursery hours in some settings
We are making changes to how funded nursery hours are offered in the following schools:
- Longniddry Primary School
- Pinkie St Peters Primary School
- Preston Tower Primary School
- Sandersons Wynd Primary School
- Whitecraig Primary School
- Yester Primary School
From August 2023, children can now attend across three or four shorter days as follows:

Monday & Tuesday 8.15am-4.30pm, Wednesday 8.15am-4pm The slightly later finish time on Monday and Tuesday is to accommodate closures during in-service days and public holidays |

Four days (Preston Tower only) |
Preston Tower is also able to offer an additional four day arrangement Monday - Thursday: 9am-2.55pm

Hours will continue to be provided over the full year except during the Christmas holidays, in-service days and public holidays.
The new models have been informed by the views of our parents, carers and nursery staff as well as how families currently use their existing hours.
