What is the Blue Badge Scheme?

As long as the journey is being made for you, and you're in the car with your badge, you can travel in any car. For more detailed information, please visit the MYGOV.SCOT web site.

Using your Blue Badge in Europe

The Blue Badge is recognised in all European countries. Displaying it on the dashboard allows you to take advantage of the same parking concessions allowed for the country's own citizens with a disability.

Concessions differ from country to country, so it's important to check where, when and for how long you can park in each country.

You can find more information about this in the AA's publication European Parking Card for People with Disabilities.
